Alice was born to John and Laura Mullin on September 27, 1921 in the small town of Racine, Wisconsin. In 1924 their family moved to Hillside, Illinois, a small town just 15 miles west of Chicago.
Music was her passion. At age 14 she played the for the First Presbyterian Church Sunday School class. A year later she played the pump organ that had been donated by a church member. She played for weddings, funerals, Christmas and church holidays. After graduating from the Proviso High School, she worked as a secretary for the Rock-Ola Mfg. Co. in their Chicago office. On September 5, 1941 she married Max Storr, the first and only love of her life. They lived in their Bensenville Illinois home for 29 years, then moved to Menominee, Michigan in a home along the shores of Lake Michigan. They enjoyed fishing off their boat, the “Story Time”, on the Michigan and Canadian waters. Alice and Max made trips by air to Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan and Hawaii. Max passed away December 22, 2007 with Alice and family by his side.
Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Thomas (Audrey) Storr, her grandson Ryan (America) Storr, granddaughter Jennifer (Robert) Wertheimer, great-granddaughter Alice Wertheimer, granddaughter Alycia Storr, great-granddaughter Isabella Storr and great-grandson Henry Thomas Storr. Daughter Susan (Don) Storr-Lykins, grandson Jonathan (Shasta) Bordwell, great-grandson Maximillian Gabriel Storr and grandson Jason DeRossett.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, 11 AM at Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York Road, Bensenville IL. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst IL. Visitation Friday, November 2, 2018 from 3-8 PM at the funeral home. For funeral information, please call 630-766-3232
